Gregory B. Taylor, Esq., the founding partner of the firm, has a broad background in all phases of real estate and finance. He has been a practicing attorney in the State of Florida for the past 15 years. Collectively, Mr. Taylor, Mark Thompson (Director of Real Estate Operations), and their Team Leads, have over 75 years of real estate experience. There isn’t an issue or situation that Mr. Taylor and his team can’t resolve. Mr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 1995. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and Westcor Land Title Insurance Company.
The firm’s real estate practice concentrates in representing buyers or sellers in acquisitions, closings, title work, leasing and financing of commercial, residential, and industrial properties. Our lawyers provide advice on the structuring and transferring of residential and commercial real estate. Our experience in these areas include drafting and negotiating contracts, resolving contract issues, performing certain due diligence, and handling the title work needed to complete the transactions. Our experience also includes representing foreign clients in purchasing or selling real estate. As a key part of our real estate practice, we routinely assist clients by examining title searches, preparing title opinions, and reviewing status of title reports. We also serve as approved attorneys to issue title insurance commitments and policies on behalf of the major national title insurance underwriters.
